Antarctica

Antarctica is the continent most people forget about. It’s not even on some maps! This breathtaking continent is a unique place to visit due to the limited amount of interaction it has had with humans. To protect the ecosystem, this interaction is regulated with a number of visitors on land and research to see the impact of tourism.

Many people dream of visiting all seven continents but never make it to Antarctica. It’s an expensive and long journey, but that just makes it more special.

Penguins line the beaches with seals while whales play in the water. The sense of isolation being that far away from civilization is indescribable and irreplicable. There’s a calming sense once you cross the infamous Drake Passage, and it’s hard to see our world the same way again.
